Erin Thomas, DMD
Dr. Thomas completed her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Tech and received her D.M.D at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She then attended the prestigious North Shore University Hospital General Practice Residency for two years where she served as Chief Resident.
During her training, Dr. Thomas completed a dental externship which provided much needed dental care for the United States Coast Guard in Yorktown Virginia. While treating our men and women in uniform she was awarded The Spirit of Excellence award in recognition of her personal efforts. She continued her passion for donating services when she traveled to Jamaica in 2007 and the Philippines in 2012 for dental mission where she cared for underserved communities.
Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society and the Spear Education Study Club
She currently lives in Kings Park with her husband, Justin and two children Harper and Cooper.
Chris Salierno, DDS
Dr. Salierno is an international lecturer and author on the subject of dental implants and cosmetics. He has published numerous articles and webcasts on smile design and implant prosthetics. One of his niche areas of research is the emerging field of implant complications and rehabilitation. He is the Editor-in-Chief of a national publication for dental professionals.
Dr. Salierno received his B.S. from Muhlenberg College and his D.D.S. from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He completed his formal training at Stony Brook Hospital’s General Practice Residency program where he focused on implant prosthetics.
While in dental school, he was the National President of the American Student Dental Association. He is the past president of the Suffolk County Dental Society. He also has held various leadership positions in the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He happily resides in Huntington Village and enjoys film, art, and travel.
Stephanie Chummar, DDS
Dr. Chummar completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Buffalo and received her D.D.S. at New York University School of Dental Medicine. She then continued her education and attended the prominent General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital.
During her training Dr. Chummar completed multiple pediatric outreaches to underserved areas all over the tristate area. She also completed a prestigious NYU honors program in forensic dentistry where she examined and evaluated dental evidence in the interest of justice.
Dr. Chummar's goal is to make every patient feel comfortable in the dental chair and confident in their smile. She currently is an active member of the American Dental Association, Xi Psi Phi Dental Professional Fraternity, and Suffolk County Dental Society.
She happily resides in Plainview. In her free time, she enjoys traveling around the world to experience different hiking adventures as well as cultures.
Christine is a board certified Registered Dental Hygienist. She grew up and lives in West Islip. She received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Farmingdale State College. During her studies she was a member of the Student American Dental Hygienists Association Board and received an award for her outstanding contributions from the Long Island Dental Hygienists Association. Christine loves treating children in our practice and also loves to treat apprehensive patients and help put their minds at ease.
When not working, Christine enjoys being with her husband and two sons, and attending her sons' sporting events. In her free time she likes to be at the beach, cook and garden.
Susan is a board certified Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been practicing hygiene for thirteen years and has been working in the dental field since 2001. She is a graduate of NYU college of Dental Hygiene, where she was selected to present award winning table clinic presentations. Susan loves to provide the utmost care and education for her patients and prides herself on giving nothing less than the best.
Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, snowboarding and the outdoors.
Vanessa, Front Desk Coordinator
Vanessa began working in the customer service industry in the year 2010. She joined Broadhollow Dentistry in 2018 and has since completed multiple hours of coursework in Dental Insurance billing and coding. One of her favorite parts of her job is the relationships that she creates with our patients. They can depend on her to address their needs whether it is in regards to finances or their treatment.
When Vanessa is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Lucy. Vanessa also enjoys baking, she is always baking cakes for our staff birthday celebrations!
Alissa, Front Desk Coordinator
Alissa began working in the dental field in the year 2000 as a pediatric dental assistant. She continued to work as an assistant for five years before transitioning to the front desk. Alissa loves to interact with patients and make their visit to the dentist enjoyable.
When not working, Alissa loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys spending time outdoors, taking her dog on walks, and attending all of her sons sporting events.
Kaylin, Dental Assistant
Kaylin has been a dental assistant for three years. She enjoys making her patients feel comfortable in the chair and always takes the time to ensure they fully understand their procedure.
When Kaylin isn't working, she enjoys playing volleyball, surfing, and snowboarding.
Jessica, Dental Assistant
Jessica has been a certified dental assistant for five years. She received her certification from the Dental Assistant Program at Stony Brook University. Jess' favorite part of her job is seeing patients who came in to the office with nerves about their treatment walk out with a smile on their face..
When Jessica isn't working, she enjoys hot yoga and going on nature hikes.
